Florida Crab Bake
|

Quantities may be adjusted according to appetite! A simple but elegant dish.
|

|
3 to 4 ounces blue crab or king crab, cooked and picked over for shells and cartilage
|
|
3 to 4 ounces mushrooms, sliced (fresh or canned)
|
| 10 to 12 shrimp (30 ct), boiled, shelled, and deveined |

Dabs of butter or margarine
|

Wild rice, cooked (optional)

Place crab meat in a layer on bottom of casserole baking dish. Add layer of mushrooms. Add layer of shrimp. |

Spread with dabs of butter and heat in oven about 5 to 10 minutes at 300? to 350 F. If you wish, add wild rice after the shrimp and then spread with butter.

Serves: 1

| Preparation Time: 5 minutes plus pre-cooking time for crab and shrimp |
| Cooking Time: 2 to 3 minutes in microwave; 5 to 10 minutes in conventional oven |
